As the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) APAC at Roam Digital, I am the executive responsible for Roam Digital's approach to craft and strategic consultancy services by leading the experience strategy, research and insights, business design, product strategy, and product design capabilities across the APAC region.

Before that and still at Roam Digital, I was the VP of design responsible for growing our company's design strategy, process, approach, and professional development capabilities across three countries.

I spend most of my time these days in strategic meetings, collaborative sessions, and communication with clients or internal teams. A typical day at work for me consists of me: attending strategy meetings with our senior leadership team, pairing with another designer on the tools, reviewing product decisions in critical projects, connecting people who should be talking with each other, figuring out how to deliver value to a new client, writing documentation, and improving the ways we work, coaching product and design teams. I also try to get on the tools whenever possible.

I built my strengths around product design, product strategy, business design, user experience, end-to-end customer experience, facilitation, and leadership throughout my career.

Being an optimist, I truly believe in the transformative value of technology, design, and leadership for the betterment of humankind. Most of my focus and interests lie in Fintech, Health & Wellbeing, Sustainable Energy, and Education.

I have been a design leader for quite some time, so I don't get to be “in the tools" much anymore (sometimes). That being said, I am still deeply involved in business, product, and user experience overall decision making with our multidisciplinary teams.

As in any excellent product development company, great results come from strong partnership between designers, engineers, and strategists. No one person can claim full credit for the result.
